Tangerina Design System established a unified foundation across the GOL Smiles ecosystem, eliminating structural fragmentation between products and enabling a consistent, scalable approach to design and development. By aligning teams under a shared system, it reduced operational friction, improved collaboration, and created the conditions for long-term evolution across multiple platforms.
Beyond standardizing interfaces, the system reshaped how design and technology operate together, embedding decisions directly into a shared structure and reducing dependency on constant alignment. This shift enabled faster delivery cycles, clearer communication between teams, and a more predictable path for scaling products across the group.
Its impact extended beyond internal efficiency. Tangerina became a strategic asset in the company’s digital transformation, strengthening brand consistency and elevating the overall quality of user experience across different journeys.
